The Genovese pandolce is a shortcrust cake, crumbly and compact that can be broken with the hands, very fragrant  due to the presence in the soft dough of candied orange peel, Marsala, and dark chocolate, our version of the typical Genovese dessert ancient “Ligurian Pastry” tradition.
